U.S. doesn’t need oil

I am not a writer. I hate to write letters, and I don’t have the time. But I have stood back and listened to all the arguments about oil and all the reasons we should drill for oil in Alaska, fight wars in the Persian Gulf, and be robbed at the gas pump until I just had to write this.

Do you know how much oil we need in the United States? Not one drop. I have been actively dealing in synthetic lubricants for years, so I know of what I speak.

In the United States we have, at this moment, synthetics that will lubricate everything that rolls, floats or flies.

To power everything that rolls, floats or flies, we have propellants like natural gas, methanol alcohol, methane gas, hydrogen, and electricity. Wake up, America, and get our soldiers out or Iraq.
