EMC buys security company Michael Whiteside, president & CEO of Coweta-Fayette EMC recently announced the purchase of Omni Security in Carrollton. "As we continue to evaluate our Relyco Security Resources business strategy, we are pleased to be able to announce to you this important acquisition, he said. Omni Security, a subsidiary of Carroll EMC, is presently serving more than 3,400 customers in the west Georgia area and includes customers like Tanner Memorial Hospital and Woodward Academy. "Our existing infrastructure is more than adequate to service all of the new additions and this purchase assists us in leveraging all of those resources. ÊWith this acquisition, Relyco will be able to target large commercial sectors for fire alarms, access control and CCTV systems, he said. Through their subsidiary, Relyco Security Resources, Coweta-Fayette EMC has been offering residential and commercial security protection since 1993.They have grown to be one of the largest home and commercial providers in this area and are the only local provider of UL approved monitoring that is stationed in their office in Newnan. Coweta-Fayette EMC is a consumer-owned cooperative providing electricity and related services to 62,000 consumers in Coweta, Fayette, Heard,South Fulton, Meriwether, Clayton, Spalding and Troop counties. |
