Wednesday, December 3, 2003 Helping live life to the fullest Things arent the way they used to be. There was a time when those growing older did not have to worry about who was going to take care of them. These days, many senior citizens have to make a choice they dont really want to make in life, like leaving their homes to live in nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Forever Young Non-Medical In-Home Care is giving these senior citizens another choice, by providing non-medical care for these people, right in their homes. Care includes doing simple chores and running errands such as grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, or doing laundry. Forever Young Non-Medical In-Home Care is the vision of Juliet Ajayi and her dream of helping senior citizens in the community has now become a reality. I looked around and noticed that there are many people out there who need help living their life to the fullest, Ajayi said. The in-home care service is one that Ajayi believes is greatly needed in the community. Neighbors and families are growing apart, she said. Children grow up and move away, and seniors would much prefer to remain in the comfort of the homes theyve lived in for many years, instead of having to face nursing homes or assisted living. Ajayi also recognized the high cost of long-term care for these seniors. Forever Young Non-Medical In-Home Care can provide service at only a fraction of the cost, plus the clients get the added benefit of remaining in the privacy and comfort of their own homes, Ajayi said. Our staff would allow seniors and their family to eliminate some of the stress and aggravation they face each day, by taking care of the things they are no longer easily able to do. Along with fulfilling her dream of helping senior citizens, Ajayi also hopes her new organization will provide jobs for wonderful people that are out there looking for employment. A Christmas party to celebrate the launching of Forever Young Non-Medical In-Home Care will be held Dec. 20 from 6-9 p.m. at the Gathering Place in Peachtree City, located at 203 McIntosh Trail. Everyone is invited to attend, especially senior citizens and their families who interested in the services offered by this new organization.
