Dalton named general manager at the palmer Course

Lisa Dalton has been appointed general manager of The Palmer Course at Starr’s Mill, formerly WhiteWater Country Club, Wyant Golf Enterprises Inc. announced Monday.

Dalton has been a member of the golf course and clubhouse staff for eight years, most recently serving as director of marketing and information services. A native of Fairburn, Dalton has lived most of her life in Fayette County, and currently resides in Tyrone. She is married to Gene Dalton and they have three daughters, Kayla, Andrea and Maegen.

John W. Boykin, chairman/CEO of Wyant Golf, made the announcement of Dalton’s promotion at the management staff’s weekly meeting Nov. 21.

Commenting on the decision, Boykin said, “Lisa’s vast knowledge of all elements of the operations of the club, her familiarity with the Fayette County market and her devotion to this facility warrant her appointment as general manager of The Palmer Course at Starr’s Mill. Her leadership will help insure that we reach or goal of returning to profitability that will enable us to make financial contributions to worthy area charities.”

Wyant Golf is a Georgia nonprofit corporation and owner of The Palmer Course at Starr’s Mill.
