Avoid F’ville after dark because of crime?

Losing freedom in Fayetteville:

I read the article John Munford wrote for the Nov. 19 Citizen titled “Woman fights truck-jacker.” While the crime is in itself disturbing, I find something that Lt. Beverly Trainor of the Fayetteville Police Department said even more upsetting. She said, “For safety reasons, people should avoid traveling alone, particularly after dark.”

It’s time that we took a long, hard look at the records of our elected officials and get rid of the ones the allow this to continue.
