Johnny Carinos announces new Dine To Donate program In the spirit of giving back to the community, Johnny Carinos restaurant next to Fayette Pavilion announces the start of a new Dine To Donate program, designed to offer not-for-profit organizations an opportunity to earn money for their causes. I am proud to offer the use of my restaurant to help the community I work in, said general manager Eric Ferrell. The Dine To Donate program is a fun and enjoyable way for people to gather together to eat and raise money for organizations that they care about." The Dine To Donate program is simple in design. A not-for-profit organization is selected from submitted applications and a date for the event to occur is scheduled. The organization selected then goes about the job of inviting as many people as possible to attend the event. On the evening selected, invited guests visit Johnny Carinos between 4-10 p.m. to enjoy a delicious Italian dinner. When the guests pay their check, they identify themselves as a Dine To Donate participant. Their server at the end of their meal collects a copy of their receipt. At the end of the evening, the receipts collected from the Dine To Donate participants are tabulated and 10 percent of the total amount of the participants bill before tax is given back to the organization. We feel it is critical that we give back to the communities that give to us, said Kevin Callaway, chief operations officer and part owner of Ameliorate, LLC, the parent company of Johnny Carinos in Georgia, Alabama and Northern Florida. When an organization gets behind and gets excited about a program like Dine To Donate, it greatly benefits all those that are involved. If you are a member or connected with a not-for-profit organization and you are interested in being considered to be a Dine To Donate participant, please contact Marycatherine Reavis, outside sales director, at 706-215 4833. Applications are readily available and there are still some open dates for the near future.
