Seniors offered Thanksgiving meals at area centers Fulton County senior citizens can enjoy turkey and all the trimmings in Thanksgiving luncheons during November at senior activity facilities in north, central and south County. The meals celebrate the holiday and illustrate the senior nutrition program conducted throughout the year by the Fulton County Human Services Department's Office of Aging. This is the only chance many seniors will get a healthy holiday meal. The Thanksgiving lunch, which costs $3, will be held as follows. Large numbers of Fulton County's 150,000 seniors age 55 and older show up weekdays at each site throughout the year for delicious, low-cost breakfasts and lunches, and to participate in activities and services that benefit them physically, mentally and socially.
