Resident wants daycare in East Coweta In reference to “County nixes idea of daycare center on Rockaway Road” ... just how much additional traffic is a daycare center going to bring? This is not a 24/7 working establishment. Has anyone noticed that there are zero (0) child care facilities in this area of Coweta?  Just where do the commissioners think that the working parents living in East Coweta are taking their children? The commissioners saw fit to approve numerous new subdivisions and new phases of existing communities on Rockaway Road; doesn’t it make more sense to have a quality neighborhood day care facility for the children — especially since we’re already traveling this busy road on our way to work to pay taxes in this county?
