Body of Christ women plan
conference
The women of the Body of Christ Church International, U.S.A., invite all
ladies ages 13 and older to attend the Victorious Women For Christ
Conference 2003, Friday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 8
at 9 a.m. Speakers will be Minister Deborah Butler of Word of Faith International
Christian Center in Southfield, Mich., Dr. Marjanita Ripley, and Dr. Gloria
Williams of Jesus People Ministries Church International in Miami. Those

Messianic dance workshop
planned
Peachtree Christian Fellowship will host a Messianic Dance Workshop Friday,
Nov. 7, from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 8 from 9 a.m.-noon. Biblical, or
Messianic, dance is a form of worship through choreographed dances. Yvonne
Rench, from Indianapolis, Ind., will teach. The workshop is for those ages
10 and up and the cost is $5 at the door. The church is on Ebenezer Church

Perlieu
Stew served at Bethany Saturday
Bethany United Methodist Church will be serving their famous Perlieu Stew
Saturday, Nov. 8, from 4-7 p.m. The church is located at 607 Rivers Rd.
in Fayetteville. The meal will be served in the fellowship hall. For more

Sq. Ft. Ministries works
at Womens Shelter
Square Foot Ministries will be making improvements at the Battered Womens
Shelter, known as The Lighthouse, Nov. 8-15, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
All workers, home fix-it people, and those with open hearts to learning
are encouraged to participate. This project will involve enclosing a carport
for use as laundry facilities and a common meeting area and also building
a 20x15 shed for storage. Workers and donations are needed.

Inman UMC gets started on
Christmas projects
Members of Inman United Methodist Church will begin their annual Angel
Tree project Nov. 9 and will continue through Christmas. The project involves
sponsorship of children who reside at the United Methodist Childrens
Home and providing gifts at Christmas. Ornaments representing the children
are hung on a tree at the church and members select a child to sponsor.
Also in preparation for the Christmas season, the Nurture committee is
preparing holiday baskets for shut-ins. For more information about Inmans

St. John AME Womens
Day celebration continues
The women of St. John A.M.E. Church in Fairburn will continue their Womens
Day celebration with activities scheduled through Nov. 9. The theme is
Women Renewing Mind, Spirit and Heart. Minister Sylvia Stroy
of Ray of Hope will speak at the 8 a.m. service on Nov. 9, and evangelist
Dorothy Norwood will speak at the 11 a.m. service. For more information

Fayette Presbyterian plans
veterans event Nov. 9
Fayette Presbyterian Church will host a complimentary Veterans Recognition
Breakfast Sunday, Nov. 9., from 9:30 to 10:40 a.m. in the church fellowship
hall. The breakfast is to honor those who have served, or are currently
serving, the nation. Current and past members of the U.S. armed forces,
friends and loved ones will be recognized in appreciation for their service.
Fayette Presbyterian is at 791 Forest Ave. (Ga. Hwy. 92 North) near Graves
Road, 2 .5 miles north of the intersection of Ga. Hwy. 85 and 92 in downtown

His House hosts Saturday
turkey shoots
His House Community Church will have a turkey shoot on Saturdays continuing
through Nov. 15. Turkeys, hams and other prizes will be awarded for those
hitting the target. Those participating may bring their own shotgun or
one will be provided. All ammo will be provided by His House. Proceeds
go to the church building fund. The church is on Ga. Hwy. 85 south in

Fayetteville Christian to
observe Friend Day
Members of Fayetteville Christian Church will observe Friend Day
Sunday, Nov. 16, and encourage all members to invite their friends and
family members. The service begins at 10:30 a.m. and will be followed
by a Thanksgiving dinner. The church is at New Hope and Hickory roads

Thanksgiving
Eve services planned
A Thanksgiving Eve service will be held at Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church,
Riverdale, at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 26. As part of this special service, those
attending are asked to bring gifts of nonperishable foods, which will
be donated to the Atlanta Community Food Bank to help stock their food
pantry for the coming months. Items needed are pasta, canned vegetables,
canned meats, rice, cereals and baby food.
Christ Our Hope men resume
monthly breakfasts
The men at Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church have monthly breakfast meetings
the fourth Saturday of each month at 8:30 a.m. at the church. Christ Our
Hope is at 2165 Ga. Hwy. 138, SW, in Riverdale, just north of the Fayette

North Fayette UMC offers
aerobics classes
Brenda Parker, a certified aerobics instructor, offers New Life Aerobics,
a nonprofit aerobics ministry, each Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30-10:30
a.m. at North Fayette United Methodist Church. Christian music is used
for the exercises and fellowship is a part of every session. The church
