Conflict of interest: Where is The Citizen?

Where is your coverage of the candidates in the race for the Peachtree City Council? Specifically where is your coverage of candidate Lee Poolman?

As I am sure you are aware, Poolman is Councilman Rapson’s subordinate in the Fulton County finance office. The ethical implications are obvious yet there has not been a peep out of your paper. If Poolman had been Bob Lenox’s employee instead of Rapson’s we would have heard from you loud and clear.

Shame on you for your unbalanced coverage and apparent king-making efforts. Your actions smack of the L.A. Times and are a testament to why the public has no respect for the media.
