Some candidates have major ‘I’ and ‘me’ issues

They dotted their I’s and crossed their T’s...but I counted them.

Often curious about seemingly stupid things, during my lunch break I did a count of the “I”s in yesterday’s paper (Oct. 29) where the five Peachtree City Council candidates responded to the nine questions of The Citizen’s Candidates’ Forum.

The “I” count for their respective responses was:

James Adduci = 5.

Lee Poolman = 7.

Judi-Ann Rutherford = 15.

Dan Tennant = 50.

Stuart Kourajian = 10.

The excessive use of the word “I” leads me to question many things about a person. Three of them are:

1) The degree to which an individual is not focused on himself.

2) An individual’s ability to work with a team.

3) An individual’s ability to work with others (motivating and leading).
