Perimeter South plans punk show Nov. 1

Perimeter South Community Church will present a benefit punk show Saturday, Nov. 1, at 6:30 p.m. at the church located behind Mask Tire Company in Fayetteville. All proceeds will go to a local mission team trip to Romania. The cost is $5 per person. Abundant Life hosts revival Nov. 2-5

Abundant Life Worship Center will hold a revival Sunday, Nov. 2 through Wednesday, Nov. 5, with services at 7 p.m. each night. Pastor Greg Cannon is the guest minister. Cannon has ministered along the eastern coast of the country, from Maine to south Georgia. He is the pastor of Midway Church of God, in Chicago Ill. Greek Orthodox Mission Church forming

Those interested in the formation of a Greek Orthodox Mission Church in the Fayette area are invited to services this Sunday, Nov. 2, at the Fayette family YMCA on Ga. Hwy. 54 at Huiett Road. Foley to speak at St. Gabriel Catholic Church

The Catholic church of St. Gabriel will sponsor a series of talks on people and prayer presented by Fr. Walter W. Foley Monday through Wednesday, Nov. 3-5, at 7 p.m. each evening. Prior to his ordination as a priest for the Archdiocese of Atlanta, Foley was with the Brothers of the Holy Cross, and also has taught in Indianapolis, Ind., New York, N.Y., and Uganda, East Africa. Baptist women announce day of prayer programs

The Baptist women in Fayette County will have two opportunities to attend programs on the Baptist Women’s World Day of Prayer. The Rock Baptist Church at 1392 Sandy Creek Rd. will host a program Monday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. RSVP by Oct. 31, 770-964-4908. Fayetteville First Baptist, 205 Stonewall Ave., will host another program Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 11 a.m., with a luncheon to follow. Cost of the luncheon is $4. Messianic dance workshop scheduled

Peachtree Christian Fellowship will host a Messianic Dance Workshop Friday, Nov. 7, from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 8 from 9 a.m.-noon. Biblical, or Messianic, dance is a form of worship through choreographed dances. Yvonne Rench, from Indianapolis, Ind., will teach. The workshop is for those ages 10 and up and the cost is $5 at the door. The church is on Ebenezer Church Road off of Ebenezer Road, south of Hwy. 54. Body of Christ women plan conference

The women of the Body of Christ Church International, U.S.A., invite all ladies ages 13 and older to attend the “Victorious Women For Christ Conference 2003,” Friday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 8 at 9 a.m. Speakers will be Minister Deborah Butler of Word of Faith International Christian Center in Southfield, Mich., Dr. Marjanita Ripley, and Dr. Gloria Williams of Jesus People Ministries Church International in Miami. Fayette Presbyterian sets veterans’ event

Fayette Presbyterian Church will host a complimentary Veterans Recognition Breakfast Sunday, Nov. 9., from 9:30 to 10:40 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. The breakfast is to honor those who have served, or are currently serving, the nation. Current and past members of the U.S. armed forces, friends and loved ones will be recognized in appreciation for their service. Fayette Presbyterian is at 791 Forest Ave. (Ga.
