Fall Festivals

Christ Our Shepherd, Oct. 31

Bring your family to join the fun at the Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church’s Halloween Carnival will be Friday, Oct. 31. Festivities will include Trunk-r-Treating from 6-7p.m. in the lighted parking lot, carnival games inside from 6:30-8 p.m. and a costume contest at 7 p.m. Admission is free. New Beginnings, Oct. 31

New Beginnings Praise and Worship Center will have a Harvest Festival Friday, Oct. 31, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Featured activities/items will include door prizes, goody bags, food, moonwalk, popcorn and cotton candy. New beginnings is on the corner of Kenwood Road and Ga. Hwy. 85 in Fayetteville. For more information, call 770-461-4612.

First Baptist, Peachtree City, Oct. 31

First Baptist Church of Peachtree City is sponsoring Hallelujah Night—an alternative to trick-or-treating — which is open to the community and geared toward children ages 3 through fifth grade. The event will be Friday, Oct. 31, from 6:30-8 p.m. Admission is free. Activities include moonwalk and drawing for prizes every 15 minutes. Popcorn, candy and cotton candy will be available. All children must be accompanied by an adult and scary costumes are discouraged. The church is at 208 Willowbend Rd. Peachtree City. For more information, call 770-487-8133.

Inman UMC, Nov. 1

Members of Inman United Methodist Church will have their fall festival Saturday, Nov. 1, from 5-8 p.m. Western wear is encouraged. Events will include apple-bobbing, games, line and square dancing plus lots of good food and apple cider. Inman is at 151 Hills Bridge Rd., Fayetteville.
