Black Jack Motorcycles celebrated its grand opening Oct. 11.

Jeff Nicklus, owner of Desperado Motorcycles, and his "Nuclear Banana", the double-decker trailer painted bright yellow with the Desperado logo on its side, joined the Black Jack crew for the big event. Nicklus will be competing with the best on the Discovery Channel's Biker Build-Off next spring.

Patrons were able to check out the Choppers first hand, including the "Jay Leno" chopper built by Orange County Choppers and featured on "The Tonight Show."

There was music by the Ken Rhynes Blues Band and Bar-b-que sandwiches from The Pink Pig. Everyone had a chance to win a prize and received a discount on merchandise. The grand prize was a leather jacket won by George Patrick.
