Job fair set for early November

Job-seekers can explore potential positions with more than 60 major employers during the Fulton County Human Services Department’s Office of Workforce Development’s 6th Annual Job Fair November 6.

More than 2,000 persons are expected to attend the event from10 a.m. to 3 p.m.at the Georgia World Congress Center.

Representatives from employers such as Staples, IBM, United Parcel Service, MCI, MARTA, the Georgia Department of Labor, and the Fulton County Personnel Department will accept applications and résumés, and conduct interviews.

Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Business attire is suggested.

The Office of Workforce Development provides year-round comprehensive employment and training services for Fulton County residents of all skill levels. Offered at three Comprehensive Career Centers in north, central and south Fulton County, the services include assessment, counseling, job readiness workshops, internships and skills training.
