Development should come under big box rule I have been reading with great interest the coming of Target to the Phase II section of Kedron Village. Could someone please show the public record of the "grandfathered" document or city council vote which recorded this opinion? The letter, of the past mayor is not an official document unless there is vote to back it up, or does Peachtree City have a new way of doing business? Please don't reference the 1995 Phase One plan; it only approved the Kroger and the other stores in Phase I. The public record located at the City Planning Department shows only an approval of Phase I, and the rest of the plat shows conceptual plans for Phase II, not final plans and the traffic study was not completed for both. Oh, the plan only shows one owner for Phase I; I don't think that Peachtree City Planning Department would allow one owner to get an approval for another owner's conceptual site plan? So, if we could see this mythical document maybe we can work things out? If not, I ask the mayor to step in with the city council and enforce the Big Box Ordinance. It is the law in this town. Maybe, another Avenue type of commercial development could occupy this space bringing more great shopping, taxes and employment to our city. John R. Young Peachtree City, Ga.
