Stereotypes take a beating in this path-trashing story

While sitting in my backyard this week, I noticed a group of uniformed soccer players cleaning the cart path next to my house, or so I thought!

Actually, they were unloading trash from the woods and trashing the path, making it impassable. I watched three carts approach with elderly drivers, who turned around. This is a well-traveled location, especially for routing to Kroger.

Upon their completion [with] old grills, tree limbs, trash of all kinds, they had completely blocked this area with heavy items. Job done, they ran off, obviously satisfied with their destruction.

Imagine my surprise when along came a skateboarder. He did not turn around. He began cleaning up, lifting this heavy debris, by himself. He worked tirelessly. The mess is still there, but off the path.

Soccer players, skateboarders? Who is to be admired here? Whoever you are, you did a great job!
