New theater group to hold auditions for comedy/mystery

Fayette Coweta Family Theatre has started a new theater company called Sharpsburg on Stage, which will present two one-act comedy/mysteries in November at the A&O Bridges Community Building as a benefit for the Sharpsburg Library Fund. The plays that will be presented are "Not My Cup of Tea," and "Next Victim, Please."

"Not My Cup of Tea" has already been cast but auditions for "Next Victim, Please" will take place at the A&O Bridges Community Building Monday, Sept. 29 at 6:30 p.m. with callbacks being held the same evening. The cast requires five males ages 20 and up and two males ages 14-18, as well as five females ages 20 and up and two females ages 14-18.

The shows will be presented Nov. 13-16. Tickets will be $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and students under 18. Desserts and beverages will be offered at intermission.
