Fayetteville Christian senior adults plan north Ga. trip

The Senior Adult Ministry (SAM) at Fayetteville Christian Church will travel to Dawsonville to visit the Kangaroo Conservation Center and Hubert Bailey's Border Collie Farm on Thursday, Sept. 25. Following the tours, the group will visit the North Georgia Outlet Mall for shopping and lunch. The cost of $30 per person includes the tours only. Bethany's fall carnival is this weekend

Bethany United Methodist Church will have its fall carnival Saturday, Sept. 27, from 12-4 p.m. Admission is free to the event which will feature free food, games, prizes and live Christian music. Bethany is on Rivers Road at Lee's Lake Road in north Fayette County.

National Heights Baptist plans yard sale Sept. 27

The young adults at National Heights Baptist Church will sponsor a yard sale Saturday, Sept. 27, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Booth spaces (9' x 15") are available for a donation of $10 per space with advance registration. Bethany's revival starts Sunday

Bethany United Methodist Church will feature the Rev. Herb Flanders as the special guest speaker during a revival set for Sunday morning, Sept. 28, through Wednesday evening, Oct. 1. Flanders will speak at the Monday evening service. Following the Sunday evening service, an old-fashioned ice cream social will be hosted by the congregation. All are asked to bring their favorite flavor of ice cream. Ladies Bible study offered at Fayetteville Baptist

A six-week ladies' Bible study by Beth Moore entitled "When Godly People Do Ungodly Things," will be offered at the Fayetteville First Baptist Church each Wednesday at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. beginning Wednesday, Oct. 1. The groups will meet in rooms A305-306. There is a $10 charge for the accompanying book. Register at the church, 205 Stonewall Ave. E., Fayetteville. Nativity Episcopal will bless the pets Oct. 4

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity will host the local community and the diocese for a service of Blessing of the Pets on the Feast Day of St. Francis, Saturday, Oct. 4, at 10:30 a.m. Nativity is at 130 Antioch Rd., Fayetteville. FFUMC to hold blood drive Oct. 5

The Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will have a Red Cross blood drive Sunday, Oct. 5, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the gym. Those interested in donating blood may sign up at the church or call Tommy Webb, 770-631-1677.

Trinity Christian School plans consignment sale Oct. 18

Trinity Christian School will have its annual children's consignment sale Saturday, Oct. 18, from 9 a.m. until noon. A half-off sale will be held for all remaining items between 2 and 3 p.m. Items available will include children's clothing sizes birth to preteen, maternity clothes, toys and equipment from more than 125 consignors. Clothing will be in good condition and displayed on racks. The school is 1.5 miles west of Peachtree City at the intersection of Ga. Hwys. 34 and 54, behind Collector's Corner.

FUMC ladies collecting bric-a-brac for craft show

The United Methodist Women at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church are collecting bric-a-brac for their upcoming November Craft Show, scheduled for Nov. 15. Proceeds go to support local missions. A large part of the proceeds comes from the bric-a-brac room. To donate items or for more information, contact Eleanor Wiley, 770-487-4673.

Christ Our Hope men resume monthly breakfast meetings

The men at Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church have monthly breakfast meetings the fourth Saturday of each month at 8:30 a.m. at the church. Christ Our Hope is at 2165 Ga. McCastle to be honored Oct. 5

The Rev. Belianda McCastle, associate pastor of New Hope United Methodist Church, will be honored for her service by members of the congregation during their first anniversary celebration and service Sunday, Oct. 5, at 2:30 p.m. Special guest speaker will be the Rev. Ronald Grooms of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
