St. Andrew's sets plans for annual art auction, reception Members of St. Andrew's in-the-Pines Episcopal Church in Peachtree City are making plans for their 13th annual art auction to benefit the church's building and community outreach programs. The art auction committee met recently at the home of committee chair, R.C. Rover, to finalize arrangements. The event will be Saturday, Oct. 11, beginning with a patron and guest champagne pre-reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by a preview at 6:30 p.m. and the auction at 7:30 p.m. Regency Art Gallery of Norcross again will provide the art which will range from signed and registered prints to lithographs and original oil paintings. "We have fine art for every taste and pocketbook," Rover said. "Contemporary and traditional styles by regional, national and international artists are represented. Tickets are $5 and provide admission to the preview, complementary wine and hors d'oeuvres. A corporate patron program and individual patron program are available.
