Auditions for upcoming theater productions

Auditions for the Popcorn Theatre Series production of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardorobe" at Newnan Community Theater will be Sept. 15-16 beginning at 7 p.m. at the theatre. Auditions for their Christmas production, "Annie," will be held in two sessions. Session #1 is for orphan girls and the role of Annie only, Sept. 15-16 (yes, the same nights as "Lion, Witch & Wardrobe"). Girls will need to be prepared to sing and dance and read from the script. Girls should prepare 16 bars to sing - an accompanist will be provided - no tapes or CDs, please. Session #2 will be Sept. 22-23 at 7 p.m. for all adults, including leads. Same rules apply to adults - prepare a song and be ready to dance a bit.

Southside Theater Guild wil have auditions for "It's a Wonderful Life," Sept. 22-23 at 7 p.m. Needed are 12 men (all ages), 10 women (all ages), two boys (10-12) and two girls (7-9). Phone 770-969-0956.
