New Dimensions seniors group to meet Sept. 11

The New Dimensions Group, a group for seniors age 55 and older at Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church, will meet Thursday, Sept. 11, at 11:30 a.m., for a potluck luncheon and planning session for the coming year. Christ the King to offer four-month Bible study course

Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church in Sharpsburg will offer a four-month Bible study course on the New Testament books of 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus beginning Thursday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m. There is no charge for the course which will be taught in the parish house of the church's property on Ga. Hwy. 34. The study will take a chapter by chapter approach with time for questions and discussion. The instructors will be Father David Epps of Sharpsburg, rector of Christ the King, and Father Paul Massey of Peachtree City, a priest at Christ the King. Rolling Hills Baptist plans Ministry Fair Sept. 14

Members of Rolling Hills Baptist Church will have a Ministry Fair Sunday, Sept. 14, from 1-3 p.m. Morning worship service is at at 10:50 a.m., followed by lunch at the church. Abundant Life Worship Center to host Friend, Family Day

Abundant Life Worship Center will host its 11th Annual Friend and Family Day Sunday, Sept. 14, with W. Calvin Smith, senior pastor, ministering at the 10:45 a.m. worship service. Seniors at FFBC to take Amish tour Oct. 20-25

Senior Adults at the Fayetteville First Baptist Church will travel to Pennsylvania for a tour of Lancaster, Pa. and the Amish community Oct. 20-25. The cost is $386 and a $100 deposit is due by Sept. 15. The cost includes two shows, the Amish farm tour, tour of the Hershey factory, motel and travel fees, two dinners at Amish restaurants and breakfast each morning. Register at the church. Tuesday Bible study resumes at Christ Our Hope

Third Thursday SAGE group plans trip to Roswell

The SAGE senior adult group at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will travel to historic Roswell Thursday, Sept. 18, for a visit to the Smith Plantation House. Lunch will be at J. Christopher's at the Public House. The cost will be $6 for the tour, $1 for transportation, and individual costs for lunch. Inman UMC Sept. 21 service moved to Minter Farm

FFUMC youth host spaghetti dinner fund-raiser

FFUMC plans Global Impact Weekend Sept. 26-28

Members of Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will have a Global Focus Seminar, focusing on missions, Friday, Sept. 26 through Sunday, Sept. 28. Among the many guest missionaries will be Craig and Patsy Kent and Frank Norris. The weekend will kick off Friday with a dinner and Sunday services will include special music and preaching. A special presentation during the Sunday school hour will highlight the importance of missions. All members and visitors are invited to attend. Body of Christ schedules men's conference

The Body of Christ International, U.S.A. invites all men to the "Champions for Christ Men's Conference" scheduled for Friday, Oct. 3, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 4, at 9 a.m. The speakers will be Pastor Randy Morrison of Speak the Word Church International in Golden Valley, Minn., and Pastor Michael Moore of Faith Chapel Christian Center in Birmingham, Ala. Providence to offer women's Bible study beginning Oct. 5

Providence United Methodist Church will offer a Sunday evening women's Bible study class beginning Oct. 5 and continuing through Dec. 14.
