Local firm names new VP

Local executive search firm BankersforHire.com has announced that Peachtree City resident and banking veteran W. Paul Smith has been promoted tovice president.

Smith will assume responsibility for leading thefirm's insurance and investment practices.Smith, who obtained a bachelor's degree in finance from Georgia State University, is a native of Georgia and has spent his career within the Georgia finance industry.Smithhas held several marketing and business development rolesthroughout his career with First Union, First Charter, SouthTrust andand most recently was the head Financial Advisor for Capital City Bank's West Point Region.
