Best idea: Let sheriff have 'em I would first like to thank Cal Beverly and The Citizen for so quickly and completely informing Fayette Countians of the situation between Commissioner Dunn and Sheriff Johnson. It had been my opinion that Mr. Dunn has always had the best interest of Fayette County as his primary agenda. I have been a strong supporter of his. By the same token, I cannot think of a single Fayette resident who does not deeply respect Sheriff Johnson and appreciate the job he has always done to keep us safe in our homes and communities. What could possibly motivate Mr. Dunn to pick a fight with that? Sounds like political suicide and screams, "There must be something to hide!" Personally, I would like to see those nine marshal cars absorbed into the sheriff's department, or better yet, assigned to protecting our students on their bus routes. Cathy Strong Fayetteville, Ga.
