Falcons fall in Macon The Fayette Christian Falcons evened their record at 1-1 after a 47-0 loss Saturday to Gilead Christian in Macon. Several first-half injuries proved damaging to the Falcons, who trailed 35-0 at intermission. Starting quarterback Jared Abadie, who sprained a knee in the season opener and only practiced Friday, reinjured it Saturday but still led the team with 53 rushing yards on six carries. Jake Marchant and Jason McEver led the defense with seven tackles apiece. The Falcons host Shiloh Hills Saturday at noon at Whitewater Middle School. It is the first conference game of the season. Shiloh Hills lost its season opener 20-8 to Gilead.
