Yarbrough struck out 9 batters in 7 innings with no walks and no earned runs, giving up 3 hits.

Seniors Kristy Cline at first base, Jordan Wiegele as shortstop, and Jenna Gilbert at third base, along with sophomore Kelsey Dawson on second base, rounded out the infield. Seniors Kim Bevillard, Kim Dickens, and freshman Jocelyn Clarke made up the outfield.

Offensively, the Lady Chiefs knocked out eight hits against the Wildcats. Bevillard, Cline, and Gilbert had two hits each and Wiegele and Beach added one. Bevillard and Dickens each drove in runs.

The Lady Chiefs are coached by Kristy Lewis, who is new to McIntosh this year, and assisted by Toby Black.
