Squires moves up at Piedmont Piedmont Hospital has named Newnan's Mike Squires director of engineering. Squires will oversee all engineering department functions necessary in maintaining the Hospital's physical structures, HVAC,mechanical and electrical systems, utilities and grounds. Previously, Squires was interim director of engineering and has a 12-year career with Piedmont Hospital. Prior to joining the hospital in 1991, Squires operated his own business. He received his education in engineering from DeKalb Tech and Griffin Tech. A Riverdale native, Squires and his wife, Tabitha, have a seven-year-old daughter and live in Newnan.
