'Lion in Winter' auditions in Newnan next week Newnan Community Theatre is holding auditions for "The Lion in Winter." This show will be directed by Caroline Carr. The auditions will take place at NCTC in downtown Newnan Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 25-26, at 7 p.m. The show will run Fridays and Saturdays, Oct. 17-Nov. 1 at 8 p.m. Roles available are Henry II, King of Britain - age 40+, Richard Lionheart - 30-40, Geoffrey - 20-30, John - 16-25, Phillip, King of France - 25-40, Elenor of Aquitane, Henry's Queen - 40+ and Alaise, Betrothed to Richard, lover to Henry - 20s.
