The Tyrone Founders Day Committee is proud to sponsor a distinguished award program that recognizes outstanding contributions of individual efforts or group effort by those who continually give of their time, dedication, and talents to the community. Whether through individual community service projects, programs or numerous community organizations, the "Spirit of Tyrone Award" exemplifies that pioneering spirit in helping our town grow and prosper.

Those who lend their leadership and vision, organizing countless fundraisers and programs to better our schools, parks, libraries, churches or historical sites.

Those who volunteer their time helping community groups and programs organize, implement and assist in achieving their purposes and goals.

Those who serve on numerous committees researching, reporting, educating our community regarding issues that directly impact our town.

Those who dedicate themselves to serving on numerous boards lending their expertise and guidance improving the community.

People or groups that are always willing to help, getting involved with their neighborhood or a larger project, volunteering endless hours or leading activities.

Those who help mold and educate the students in our local schools.

Youngsters who seek ways to improve their community and enrich the lives of others by their deeds of kindness.

You may nominate an individual or group in one of these categories: Business, Education, Youth, Town Employee, Civic Organization, Church Member.

The list above is by no means all-inclusive of the contributions that have a direct impact on our growing community. The town welcomes those submissions that show true dedication, innovations, and a pioneering spirit in their commitment to our community.
