Southside Baptist will have revival Aug. 24-27

Southside Baptist Church will have a revival Sunday, Aug. 24, through Wednesday, Aug. 27. Services are at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Southside Baptist is at 1332 Ga. Hwy. 92, south of Fayetteville.

PTC United Methodist to host divorce recovery series

A free, Biblically-based, 13-week divorce recovery series will be hosted by the Peachtree City United Methodist Church beginning Wednesday, Aug. 20. The series is geared toward those who are recently divorced, contemplating divorce, or separated. The group will meet each week from 7-9 p.m. in room 300. Free childcare will be provided. The series involves viewing a video, taking notes in a workbook, and group discussion. Nonmembers of the church are welcome to attend. The church is at 225 Robinson Rd. Bethany UMC schedules pancake breakfast

Bethany United Methodist Church will have a pancake breakfast Saturday, Aug. 23, from 8-11 a.m. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Proceeds will go toward the purchase of new pew cushions. Bethany is on the corner of Lee's Lake Road and Rivers Road in north Fayette County.

Grace Evangelical plans ladies' Bible study

A ladies Bible study class, "Beloved Disciple: The Life and Ministry of John," by Beth Moore, will begin Tuesday Sept. 9, at 9:30 a.m. at Grace Evangelical Church. For childcare reservations or more information, call Doris at 770-487-1249.

Deliverance service is Aug. 22 at Release Ministries

Free gospel singing in Grantville this Saturday night

The Lord's House Thrift Store in Grantville will present a free gospel singing Saturday evening, Aug. 23, beginning at 6 p.m., at the old train depot in Grantville. The event will be outdoors, weather permitting. Snacks and cold drinks will be available for a nominal price.
