Hopewell's homecoming is Sunday

Hopewell United Methodist Church will celebrate its 149th homecoming this Sunday, Aug. 24. Sunday School will be at 9:45 a.m. and morning worship will be at 11 a.m. The Rev. Ed Nelson, a former pastor, will deliver the message.

Following the service, a covered dish dinner will be served in the pavilion on the church grounds. Friends, present and former members and ministers, and all those with ties to Hopewell are invited.
