Left-lane laggard
drives with flashers
A driver poking along in the left lane of a four lane highway is bad enough. But to add insult to injury why do some of those pokers have their emergency flashers on when driving down the highway? While traveling south on Ga. Highway 85 outside of Fayetteville, I witnessed a driver doing just such a thing. The driver was poking along in the left lane, had their emergency flashers on and holding up traffic. This took place on a warm sunny afternoon. I have seen other drivers traveling down the highway while it was raining with their emergency flashers on and their headlights off. It is my understanding that the only time a driver is to put on his emergency flashers is when they are parked on the side of the highway in the event of a emergency, flat tire, car trouble, etc. Where do all these drivers come from?
