Nick and Lana Cate have introduced the newest state-of-the-art video production and editing technology to Atlanta's south side by announcing the grand opening of their video services company, Cate Video Services, located at 847 Carnellian Lane in Peachtree City.

Nick, formerly with Delta Technology, and Lana recently completed intensive training programs in video production and editing, utilizing the latest technology in video editing software, described as "the heart and soul of the video editing business."

The training was conducted as part of a series of workshops, presented by Indianapolis based HVSI, the nation's largest and most successful home video studio chain. Jason Jacobson and Frank Rohmer, of Video Consultants, Inc., among others, served as instructors, and call the technology used by Cate Video Services the "absolute finest software for video editing available today".

Meeting needs for both individuals and businesses, Cate Video Services offers a wide range of video services including among others, duplication, editing, video to DVD transfer, photo keepsakes, sports scholarship videos, legal video, slide and home movie transfer.

They are a member of the Home Video Studio TAKEONE Network, a nationwide association of professional video companies, and are associated with an award-winning Producer-Director who has set their high standards.

"Keepsake Videos." one of the most popular services provided by Cate Video Services uses cutting edge technology in capturing photographs, adding music, titles, narration, and special effects, to produce a video keepsake that will provide memories for a lifetime. These have been popular for weddings, graduations, retirement parties, memorials, new additions to the family, etc.

Apparently, the system is working well for the Cates'. At a Conference in Las Vegas, Cate Video Services won "Best Video" award for studio owners with less than one year's association with HVSI. Nick, Lana, and their son Brennan accepted the award for their special keepsake video about a newborn who was adopted at birth. The video included footage/photos from the newborn's first six months of life. The video was a Father's Day present for a very emotional and grateful, adoptive father. Nick and Lana were contacted on several occasions by the adoptive parents expressing thanks for the work. "That, quite frankly, is more meaningful than any award we might win now or in the future," said Nick.
