Braelinn Baptist Church adds additional morning service it's on Sunday night

Beginning Aug. 17, Braelinn Baptist Church in Peachtree City will add a third Sunday "morning" service at 6 p.m. The service is called "six@nite."

The service will be identical to the two Sunday morning services and the church will offer full programming for children ages birth through fifth grade on Sunday evenings.

Senior Pastor Keith Moore says that the new service time was needed because, "the parking was full, our children's ministry areas are at capacity, and it often is difficult for visiting families to find adjacent seating in our auditorium."

Moore says he believes the new service time will appeal to many people, given the active lifestyles of the members of the community in Fayette and Coweta counties. The additional service time also will provide more room for visitors at all three Sunday services.

The six@nite worship service will be identical to the two Sunday morning services with Moore preaching all services. When guest speakers visit Braelinn, they also will speak at all three services. Choir performances, special music, solos, the Lord's supper, announcements and drama presentations will be identical at all three services.

For the children from birth through Pre-K, Promiseland PM leaders will offer the same care, Bible lessons and playtime activities during the evening service as they offer for the morning services.

Children in kindergarten through age five will attend the praise and worship portion of the service with their families in the auditorium. At the beginning of the sermon, children will leave and go into a small group setting for Bible study and prayer.

For older students, Braelinn's Student Ministry offers many opportunities. LifeTouch groups, small group Bible study for grades 9-12, meet at various times and locations during the week.

For students in grades 7-8, The Edge offers small group Bible study on Sundays at 10:30 a.m., and Breakthrough, a high energy time of fellowship on Mondays from 6:30-8:15 p.m.

Also, ninth grade through college age students are offered a worship experience on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. called "Sunday Morning Live.

Braelinn Baptist is at 777 Robinson Rd. in Peachtree City. For more information about six@nite or any of the programs offered by the church, call 770-487-6691.
