I would like to respond to Kathie Cheney's letter to the editor regarding Tyrone's vote on liquor by the glass.

I have no personal interest in whether Tyrone does or does not offer liquor by the glass. I do, however, have a serious interest in the government and Kathie Cheney attempting to be my personal watchdog. Both cigarettes and alcohol are still legal and I personally want the right to make my own choices as to whether I choose to engage in legal activities or not, thank you very much!

I do not believe there is a restaurant on the face of this earth that is responsible for my sobriety. I happen to believe in personal accountability and if Kathie wishes to live in a society where the government dictates society's choices, I highly encourage her to make a move to one of the middle eastern countries.
