To identify in your recent editorial one of my pet driving peeves as the driver who insists on driving in the left lane and thereby impedes the normal flow of traffic did my heart good.

One doesn't do that on most of the European interstates, especially the Autobahn. Our interstates aren't too bad. When it gets bad is in the suburbs on four-lane roads.

And the reason? The reaction of two of your cohorts who said they drive on the left side, always have, always will. "And what are you going to do about it?"

I love to read your trying to champion this cause. Good luck, Cal. Just add me as one who hates those guys and mostly older women.
