These lights have got to change

My many thanks for your article last week. There is always a price to pay for speaking out, but your voice in this matter was way over due.

My vote for the stupid traffic light is the one at Ga. highways 54 and 85 heading east [in Fayetteville]. I have called the traffic light office several times about the week it took to time the lights in Fayetteville to make it worse. Nothing has been done to correct the problem. Any time during the day, you can expect to wait two to three lights to get through.

My vote for the stupid speed limit is Jeff Davis between Hwy. 85 and Hwy. 54 and Hwy. 54 through Fayetteville. Both are at 35 mph. This will never be changed because it is a source of revenue for the Police Department.
