Hall and Oates to close out concert series By MICHAEL
BOYLAN
It has been on the tips of their tongues for months but they were not allowed to tell anyone the secret. Not until June 28, when tickets to the second part of the summer concert series at the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater went on sale to the public. The secret is now out. The final concert of the series will feature Hall and Oates. Daryl Hall and John Oates have continued to draw enthusiastic crowds since their heyday in the late 1970s and 1980s. The duo has produced a number of huge hits, including "Maneater," "Family Man," "Sara Smile," "Private Eyes," and "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)." Their music is best described as a mixture of Philly soul with rhythm and blues and European melodies. Series tickets are $130 for the five concert series. Tickets that are not sold as part of the series will go on sale Tuesday, July 8, at 9 a.m. Individual tickets are $45. Phone 770-631-0630 for more information.
