Trobaugh visit rescheduled at Peachtree City Library When Athens writer Augusta Trobaugh was to have been in Peachtree City to talk about her books, some of the worst storms in many years hit the area and it was thought best by everyone involved that she not drive from Athens and that the program should be postponed. The time has come for Trobaugh to fulfill her previous commitment and she will be in the Floy Farr Room at the library Sunday, June 22, at 2 p.m. Trobaugh will be especially talking about her latest book, "Swan Place," recently released by Penguin Putnam Inc. But her many fans will be asking questions about her three previous novels: "Resting in the Bosom of the Lamb, Praise Jerusalem," and "Sophie and the Rising Sun." The latter book is currently being made into a film. It is still in the script development stage but Trobaugh says that some very familiar Hollywood names are being mentioned for parts. Sophie is a Southern lady who had been dedicated to the care of her mother and aunt until their deaths. In the late thirties a Japanese gardener came to help a neighbor with her garden. Their romance, if it can be called that, consists of a friendly smile or nod in passing until Dec. 7, 1941. Omega Book Store will have a limited number of books for signing.
