Six Flags over Georgia has long been known for their wide assortment of exciting rides, fun games and entertaining shows. The amusement park will have even more fun this week as Atlanta Fest, the southeast's largest Christian music festival, returns for its 17th year.

Atlanta Fest brings in the top contemporary Christian artists along with guest speakers and a slew of activities for visitors to the festival. Among the group's playing at this year's festival are Jars of Clay
(which recently won a Grammy award for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album), Audio Adrenaline, Toby Mac, Sixpence None The Richer, Mercy Me, Relient K and many, many more.

Some of the nation's leading Christian speakers, including David Nasser, Jay Strack, Russ Lee and Bart Millard (of Mercy Me). Special Guests The Skit Guys will host all shows on the Ingles Main Stage.

New to Atlanta Fest this year are seminars open to all participants presented by Focus on the Family and The Atlanta Fest Foundation, as well as three separate stages running concurrently each afternoon within the theme park, featuring Praise and Worship, Contemporary Christian and New Artist Showcase formats. Also new to Atlanta Fest 2003 is the Atlanta area's regional competition in the national Christian Music Talent Search. Returning to Atlanta Fest this year is the "Prayer Labyrinth" which gives participants an opportunity to encounter God on a personal level.

Atlanta Fest runs Wednesday through Saturday, June 18-21. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling 1-800-783-8839 or online at www.atlantafest.com.
