Ban smoking immediately

I agree wholeheartedly with Kathie Cheney. It is time to pass a smoking ban for all businesses open to the public. The myth of "smoke protected" has harmed enough people.

It is the duty of government to protect citizens from harm. Government provides law enforcement not only to solve crimes but to prevent crimes. Rather than continuing to treat smoking related illnesses, much of the cost of which is paid for by government, it is time to prevent smoking related illnesses. Our government owes it to us to protect us from the destructive habits of others.

Ban smoking now!
