Though we appreciate the mayor's interest in our activities, we politely correct him. DIRECT PAC has not endorsed Mr. Tennant. In fact, we have not yet endorsed any candidate for the council seats to be contested in the next election.

That said, one of the objectives of our group is to support candidates who we feel will, if elected, contribute positively to the governing of Peachtree City. But our purview extends beyond just endorsing candidates.

DIRECT PAC is about the entire process of efficiently governing Peachtree City. We exist because we're dissatisfied with the temper, tone, and direction of government in this city. We want to influence government in a way that keeps Peachtree City prosperous, that maintains a reasonable cost of living for the city's residents, that sees increasing property values, and that assures us the continued high standard of public services we and our families expect.

In short, we enjoy living here and strive to keep Peachtree City a great place to live.
