Holy Trinity's annual outdoor community Mass is June 15 Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City will have its annual outdoor community Mass Sunday, June 15, at 8:30 a.m. at the Fred Brown Jr. Amphitheater on McIntosh Trail in Peachtree City. The mass will serve a dual purpose, celebrating both Trinity Sunday and Father's Day. The event is a joint effort of all organizations at Holy Trinity and is coordinated by the Women of Faith. "This is an opportunity for all members of the community to celebrate together," a church spokesperson said. "It is a communal renewal of faith and commitment to know, love and serve God and each other." The Mass will be celebrated by Fr. John Walsh, pastor, and concelebrated by Frs. Dave McGuinness and Joe Shaute, parochial vicars at Holy Trinity. The 6 p.m. Mass on Saturday, June 14, will be held at Holy Trinity. No other Masses will be scheduled that weekend. In the event of heavy rain, Masses will be celebrated at the church at 10:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. only. The amphitheater seats 2000 and is wheelchair accessible. The congregation is invited to remain after the Mass for juice and doughnuts served by the Women of Faith. Those entering McIntosh Trail from Ga. Hwy. 74 (McIntosh Trail is referred to as Kelly Drive from this entrance) may park at the amphitheater. Those entering McIntosh Trail from Peachtree Parkway will be directed to park at Huddleston Elementary School. Golf carts will be available to transport elderly and handicapped persons from the school to the amphitheater.
