Indians sweep, reach Final Four The East Coweta Indians are one of the first teams to reach the semifinals of the AAAAA state baseball tournament Wednesday's doubleheader sweep of Pope, winning the first game 6-5 and taking the nightcap 8-2. The Indians, who have swept each of their opponents in the first three rounds of the state playoffs, will now play Monday at home against the winner of the Redan-Lowndes series, which was scheduled to be decided Thursday evening. Monday's first game is set for 5 p.m. In the other half of the AAAAA bracket, Fayette County and South Gwinnett split their doubleheader Wednesday and were scheduled to play the third and deciding game Thursday afternoon. The winner of that game hits the road to play Colquitt County, who swept Harrison in two straight games Wednesday. Should Fayette County reach the final round, those games would be played in Fayetteville beginning a week from today. In the A classification, Landmark Christian saw its season come to an end with two straight losses to Clinch County Wednesday in Homerville. The scores were 7-4 and 17-6.
