Nativity Episcopal announces summer schedule

The Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Fayetteville announces changes its schedule for thr months of June to September while the rector, the Rev. Robert A. Hudak, is on sabbatical. The Rev. Martha Mercure will provide pastoral care and will conduct services in his absence.

During the summer months, only two services will be held on Sundays.

The Children and Family Service begins at 8:45 a.m. and is a service of Holy Eucharist completely focused on the children. It incorporates age-appropriate prayers, lessons, and homily. The children and their families participate in the music as well, led by Music Minister Joanne Brown.

A traditional service of the Holy Eucharist, including music led by the adult choir, is held at 10:30 a.m; a nursery is provided. A time of fellowship follows the service.
