The second part of the summer concert series at the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater was announced on Friday morning and it is full of high class entertainment as well as a big surprise.

The second part of the series will kick off Aug. 1 and 2 with a cocnert with Pat Benatar and her husband, Neil Giraldo. Benatar is best known for the hits "Love is a Battlefield," "We Belong," and "Hit Me With your Best Shot." The Fred will then come alive on Aug. 15 and 16 with Peter Frampton. Some of his hits include "Show Me The Way" and "Do You Feel Like We Do?" August will end with the song stylings and Vegas glitz of Wayne Newton on Aug. 29 and 30.

Micky Dolenz of The Monkees wil perform Sept. 12 and 13. While colleague Davy Jones sang the ballads for the group, Dolenz was known for singing the upbeat numbers such as "Last Train to Clarksville" and "I'm a Believer." The final show of the series is set for Sept. 26 and 27 but Amphitheater Director Donna Romeo can not release the details just yet. She will announce the mystery duo on June 28 when tickets go on sale to the public.

"They are the number one charting duo in rock and roll history," said Romeo. "It will be worth the wait."
