Nativity to host 'Dolly Brunch'

The ladies of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity are planning a special program entitled " Around the World with Dolls," Saturday, May 17. A "Dolly Brunch" will be served at 11 a.m. and each person attending should bring a doll for show and tell, or for a do-not-touch exhibit. Especially welcome will be dolls from other cultures and times. Women will meet from noon- 1p.m., and girls and teens may enjoy doll-making crafts. Nativity is at 130 Antioch Rd., Fayetteville. Tech chaplain to speak to men's group at PTC 1st Baptist

Derrick Moore, chaplain at Georgia Tech, will be the guest speaker at the Crossfire Men's Ministry breakfast Saturday, May 17, from 8-10 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Peachtree City. Those who would like to attend may register at www.fbcptc.com or call the church office, 770-487-8133.

North Fayette talent showcase is May 18

The youth at North Fayette United Methodist Church will host a talent showcase Sunday, May 18, at 5 p.m. in the Activities Building. The program will feature 20 voices, skits, solos, a Karate demonstration and the seven-member ChiRho Band. Proceeds will go to the youth summer outreach program, including mission trips and the church youth choir's tour in Alabama and Florida this summer. A nursery will be available. Bethany UMC will have homecoming May 18

Members of Bethany United Methodist Church in north Fayette County will welcome the Rev. Herb Flanders as special guest speaker at its homecoming service Sunday, May 18.
