May we thank the staff of The Fayette Citizen for the success of our 28th annual Respect Program. We received outstanding support from the Fayette County Board of Commissioners, Fayetteville Mayor and council, Fayetteville Police Department and the Fayette County Sheriff's Department in making our respect for this dinner and program a success. Your publicity has been most helpful to this activity and other activities of the Fayetteville Optimist Club. We will soon complete 27 years of service to Fayetteville and Fayette County.

We are proud of our many outstanding public servants; Fayette County Commissioners, City council of Fayetteville and Mayor, Fayetteville Police Department and Fayette County Sheriff's Department.

For outstanding participation in our scholarship contests, we thank The Board of Education and Educational Staff for guidance and encouragement, and the parents and students for their efforts and success.

We have learned more that the respect and support of our civic leaders and law enforcement officers is most important to have a successful and peaceful society.

We appreciate all of the support and encouragement of all citizens.
