After-school registration starts next week

Parents who wish to pre-register their children for Coweta County Schools' After School Program can do so May 5-9 at the elementary school which the child attends. Times for registration are 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

There is a one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $10 per child. All outstanding balances must be paid in full before students can register for the After-School Program (ASP).

Tuition for this year's ASP will continue to be $8 per day. Tuition payments made by the Friday prior to the week of attendance will be $6 per day reserved.

To maintain a space in the ASP, parents must pay for at least one designated day of attendance each week, regardless of whether the child attends or not.

Since enrollment in the After School Program is limited, a waiting list will be provided once maximum enrollment is reached.

Please see the site coordinator in the school cafeteria to complete all necessary information.

The 2003-04 school year begins on Aug. 8. Parents will need to visit the school during the week of August 4-7 to pre-pay and schedule attendance for the first day/week of school.

For more information about the Coweta County After-School Program contact Director Earl Coulter or Vickie Bray at 770-254-2827.
