Landmark takes tennis crown

Landmark Christian School swept the Region 5-A tennis titles last week.

The varsity girls defeated Bowdon in the region finals with wins in singles by Merrit Tidwell, Merideth Campbell, and Caroline Jones, and wins in doubles by Anna Marie Glaize/Coleen Leonard and Lauren Lantz/Lindsey Lantz.

The varsity boys defeated Bowdon in the region finals with wins in singles Jonathan Wood, Cory Schnare, and Aaron Thomas, and wins in doubles by Robert Jones/Ben Grindle and Will Lopez/Brett Brown.

Landmark team members living in Fayette County include Campbell, the Joneses, Leonard, and Thomas. Students who live in Coweta County include Grindle, Lopez, and Brown.

Winners from Douglas County include Tidwell, the Lantzes, and Schnare. Wood and Glaize are residents of South Fulton County.
